Hi, I’m Dr. Cece

Dr. Cecilia Anton is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, certified by the state of California. Born and raised in New York City, Cecilia graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and spent more than 20 years as a fashion designer. The high-pressure demands of creating seasonal collections led to chronic shoulder pain. After finding relief through acupuncture, she was inspired to pursue a career in holistic health, enrolling at Pacific College of Health and Science, where she completed over 3,000 hours of clinical and practical training.

Cecilia specializes in alleviating pain caused by sprains, strains, muscular atrophy, and both acute and chronic injuries. She invites you to recharge and rehabilitate by taking control of your well-being. Her expertise helps foster a long-term commitment to self-care, promoting longevity, mental clarity, and even a radiant glow that reflects on your facial appearance.

A former marathon runner, Cecilia enjoys surfing and hiking in her free time, embodying the balance and vitality she encourages in her patients.

My Approach

The best acupuncture treatment in La Jolla begins with what I observe in each patient. Every session is uniquely tailored, addressing current patterns, imbalances, and symptoms to deliver the most effective and truly personalized care.

Facial Acupuncture & Microneedling

My expertise lies in facial acupuncture and microneedling, blending time-honored techniques with modern innovations to promote natural rejuvenation. These treatments boost skin health, smooth fine lines, and restore a radiant, youthful glow—while supporting overall well-being.

At 51, I live what I teach, sharing my own “secrets to the fountain of youth.” With specialized certification from Michelle Gellis, LAc., and Josh Nerenberg, LAc., I ensure every acupuncture and microneedling session in La Jolla meets the highest standard of care.

orthopedic AcupuNcture

I specialize in treating pain and injuries through orthopedic acupuncture, addressing conditions related to workplace incidents, sports activities, and the natural aging process.

As a former marathon runner and current surfer, I know firsthand that pain is never fun. My goal is to help patients return to the activities they love—stronger and healthier. I’ve trained under Dr. Uzi Chen, a leader in sports orthopedic acupuncture.
